Mihrab is a calm companion for a Muslim's day: the prayers, the Quran, and the remembrance in between, in one private app. Hold any word in the mushaf and hear that one word read. Follow the recited word as it lights up on the page. See tajweed in colour, on Hafs and on Warsh. Keep your journal and settings in step between your own devices, with no account and no server. And every line of it is open source. PRAY - Prayer times for today, the week and the month ahead — worked out on your phone, from a provider, or from the published national tables for Sweden, Morocco, Algeria, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, or Diyanet’s for 8,291 places in Türkiye and worldwide — shareable as an image or a PDF - The adhan for each prayer, with seventeen recordings or your own, a reminder before it, and a snooze that offers only what the prayer's time still allows, down to a last chance before it ends - A full-screen prayer alert over the lock screen, like an alarm clock, with Stop, Snooze and Log prayer - Silence the phone for the prayer itself, and let it come back on its own — Do Not Disturb from the adhan or a few minutes before, with its own length for Jumu'ah - A pinned countdown to the next prayer on the lock screen and in the notification shade, in three designs - Qibla compass with signal strength and a cross-check against the sun - Log each prayer with one tap; the journal keeps the record, the streak and the graph - Home-screen widgets: prayer times in three sizes, today's log, Hijri date, streak, tasbih and reading READ AND LISTEN - The Madinah mushaf, drawn as text from the King Fahd Complex's page fonts and sharp at any size — and Warsh, Qalun and Shu'bah beside it - Tajweed colours, every rule explained — on Hafs and on Warsh - The word reader: hold a word to hear it read on its own - 44 reciters, and for those with word timings, the recited word lit on the page - Tilawah: surah into surah with the screen off, with a sleep timer and a speed control; it keeps your place and suggests what the sunnah recommends at that hour — Al-Kahf on Friday, Al-Mulk at night - 14 translations and classical tafsir, kept for offline reading - Memorisation tools, bookmarks, and khatmah plans that follow the page you are on REMEMBER - More than 100 duas from Hisn al-Muslim, with transliteration and translation - A tasbih counter for the dhikr after prayer and beyond - A fasting log for Ramadan and the Sunnah fasts, with reminders - The Hijri calendar with Ramadan, Eid and Jumu'ah, and an ayah of the day YOURS - No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no account - Works offline once your location is set and the pages you want are on the phone - Sync between your own devices with no account and no server of ours: sealed files in a folder you already keep in sync - Backup and restore to a file you keep - Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac, in 13 languages, with Arabic and Urdu fully right-to-left - Light, dark and pure black, six colour themes, your own accent colour, and Material You — or Sky, which paints the whole app from the sky over the countdown and changes with the hour — in Realistic or Vibrant colours The network is used only when you choose it: a prayer-time provider (AlAdhan, Türkiye Takvimi, or the national tables for Sweden, Morocco, Algeria, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia), place search through OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and downloading Quran pages, translations, tafsir and recitation audio. Your coordinates stay on your device. Mihrab is open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later.
