about
- description
- SOS Alerter is a modern, privacy-focused emergency assistance application designed to keep you safe when it matters most. It operates entirely offline, storing all user credentials, contacts, and captured media locally on your device. Key Features: * Emergency SMS & Call Alerts: Instantly send custom emergency SMS messages with high-accuracy GPS coordinates and auto-dial your designated contact or emergency services. * Continuous GPS Tracking: Keep contacts updated with periodic location sharing. * Discreet Evidence Gathering: Silently capture photos using front and back cameras, and record ambient audio during an active emergency. * Versatile Activation Triggers: Trigger an alert via a triple-press of the power button, shaking the device, voice commands ("Help Me"), or a long press on the main screen button. * Loud Siren & Strobe: Activate a loud siren and strobe light to grab nearby attention. * No Trackers or Ads: Free and open-source under GPLv3, with absolutely no telemetry, analytics, or third-party connections.
