description

Bell gathers replies and quotes across your Nostr accounts into one chronological timeline with a compact black interface. Your own posts appear as context, and an event reaching several accounts appears once. Filter by account or show only direct replies. Mark posts read to dim them, or silence a thread while keeping its history. Choosing a reaction marks the post read for the receiving accounts in the current view. Viewing replies in the open timeline clears their alerts and leaves them unread. Reply or react from a chosen account. A reply shows Sent only after a public relay acknowledges it, and a delivered reaction carries a red confirmation ring. The reply editor keeps your draft and offers recovery for an unconfirmed request. In @mentions, people that account follows rank first, and only the typed name fragment goes to search relays. Dictation uses an installed offline speech engine, and the draft stays open for review. Pictures, audio and video linked in posts appear inline, up to 32 MiB each, in an isolated preview that needs a compatible WebView. Audio and video never autoplay. Profile and note references become readable names and event cards. Keys stay in Amber, and watch-only accounts never sign. Data Saver limits media downloads on metered networks, and public mutes collapse posts from authors you choose. An optional integration with an installed Citrine, off by default, caches public events locally. Background alerts depend on Android and your relays. New installations use Bamboo, a 600 ms soft wooden tap, as the default notification sound, while sound choices you have made in Android settings are kept.
